Hydrochlorothiazide
Hydrochlorothiazide is a thiazide diuretic that increases salt and water excretion. It can alter sodium, potassium, kidney function, glucose and uric acid. Listed uses include hypertension and oedema.

- Vomiting, diarrhoea, poor intake or heat can increase dehydration and kidney risk.
- Low sodium or potassium can cause weakness, confusion, cramps or abnormal rhythm.
