How does minocycline work?
Minocycline works by attaching to the 30S ribosomal subunit of bacteria. This stops them making proteins, so they cannot grow and multiply.
What should I do if I get a severe headache or vision changes while taking minocycline?
Get urgent medical help straight away. The same applies to yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), facial swelling, difficulty breathing or a blistering rash.
