Listings are for comparison only. Suitability and supply depend on clinician and pharmacy checks, stock, destination rules and prescription requirements.
Calcipotriol activates vitamin D receptors in skin cells, slowing abnormal proliferation and supporting more normal maturation.
Ointments, creams and scalp preparations suit different sites. Products combined with betamethasone add corticosteroid risks and should not be treated as plain calcipotriol.
Avoid use on the face, eyes, broken skin or an undiagnosed rash unless specifically directed. Calcium disorders, severe kidney disease and other vitamin D or calcium products require review. Excessive use over large areas can disturb calcium balance.
Seek urgent help for facial swelling or breathing difficulty, severe weakness or confusion, repeated vomiting, marked thirst with frequent urination or a severe widespread skin reaction.
