Darifenacin
Darifenacin relaxes involuntary bladder contractions and may reduce urgency, frequency and leakage in overactive bladder. Similar symptoms can also come from infection, obstruction or other disease.

How it works
Darifenacin blocks M3 muscarinic receptors in the bladder, reducing involuntary detrusor contractions.
Important safety checks
Bladder emptying, bowel function, glaucoma, liver disease and other anticholinergic medicines require review. Dry mouth and constipation can occur. Reduced sweating can increase heat-illness risk, particularly in hot weather.

Seek urgent help for inability to urinate with severe lower-abdominal pain, severe abdominal swelling with vomiting or inability to pass stool, a painful red eye with halos or blurred vision, severe confusion or heat illness.
